Working at Murdoch Childrens
professional and challenging
work
A key advantage to working at the Murdoch Childrens is that you
will work in an organisation conducting globally competitive
research capitalising on strengths across the disciplines of
laboratory, clinical and public health research. Extending from
this objective, MCRI also aims to drive enterprise, initiative and
cross-disciplinary interaction, by developing clinical research on
the Royal Children's Hospital Campus.
career
development
We understand that people want to enjoy a good day's work in a
good job and excel in their performance. Many also want a clear
career path and so we strive to provide staff with opportunities to
build their expertise and their professional and personal
development. We realise that a person's career aspirations and
goals are unique and need to be balanced against their life outside
of work and we use a variety of means to ensure their needs are
constantly met. Through training programs, national and
international exposure (eg through conference attendance and
international research collaborations) and regular performance and
career planning, our aim is to help each person develop the career
path that they want. If you are happy in your position with us, our
aim will be to continue to offer an enjoyable job and working
environment that helps you achieve excellent performance which in
turn, helps the Institute to achieve its Mission.
