student conference support

The Murdoch Childrens Research Institute Student Conference Support Scheme is available to Murdoch Childrens research higher degree students (PhD or equivalent) who seek funding to present a poster or oral presentation at a conference relevant to their research. This Scheme is open to MCRI research higher degree students (including international students) who do not receive a travel allowance as part of their scholarship and who fulfil all the eligibility criteria. Students may be offered conference support up to a maximum of $3,000 for one international or up to two interstate conference visits during their candidature under the Scheme.  It is expected that additional funding will be sought from other sources such as external funding bodies, supervisor/Research Group and university to supplement travel funds provided under the Scheme.

The Murdoch Childrens Student Conference Support Scheme Guidelines and Form provides further information on the application process, including eligibility criteria. Applications may be made at any time but should be submitted at least 2 months before the conference trip is expected to occur.
