Philanthropist Anne Kantor AO dies at 86

Murdoch Children’s Research Institute was deeply saddened to hear the news of Anne Kantor’s passing. Our thoughts and condolences are with Anne’s friends and family at this time.

A remarkable philanthropist and inspiring role model for giving, Anne was a founding donor and passionate supporter of Murdoch Children’s Research Institute for many years.

Alongside her mother, Dame Elisabeth Murdoch AC DBE, Anne helped bring the Institute to life and her legacy of giving and passion for medical research continues to resonate throughout the family.

Anne Kantor passed away aged 86 on Thursday, 15 September 2022.

Over the course of her life, Anne inspired many of us with her warmth, generosity and dedication to the health and wellbeing of children. 

We will be forever grateful for the impact she has left on the lives of children for generations to come.
