Being the first ever fan to wave the chequered flag at the 2011
Formula 1™ Qantas Australian Grand Prix is not something Ed Howley
will ever forget.
In March, Ed Howley was the lucky winner of the Wave in F1
History competition and claimed the once in a lifetime experience,
thanks to Murdoch Childrens, the official charity of the event, and
the Australian Grand Prix Corporation.
"It was an awesome experience. Being that close to all the action
was something I will never forget," Ed said.
Over the four day event, the Wave in F1 History competition,
proceeds from ticket sales and other activities raised $50,000 for
life saving child health research.
