save lives this festive season

1 December 2011

Murdoch Childrens is celebrating our recent move into state of the art facilities in the redeveloped Royal Children's Hospital

In our new home our research space,  has doubled, giving us the physical resources to match our capabilities. We have the talent and intellectual capacity to make major discoveries, however whilst we have moved in, some of our space is will not fully operational. We need your help to fit out, equip and build capacity in our new home.

This represents a once in a generation opportunity to help Murdoch Childrens continue to be at the forefront of research to save and improve the lives of children - like six year old Leo who is in remission from leukaemia, having battled the disease since he was two.

Leo and his family are taking part in our study to look at the mental health impact of cancer on the child and their family.

We need your support to acquire the essential cutting-edge equipment to give our brightest minds the technology they need, and to expand our research teams and recruit new researchers.

Every gift - no matter what the size - will help our research team continue to make a difference to the health and wellbeing of our children.
