Five thousand people flocked to the Mornington Peninsula for a
day of fashion, fine food and Polo at the Stella Artois Portsea
Polo on Saturday 8 January 2011.
The sold out event raised more than $200,000 for the Murdoch
Childrens Research Institute to support research into child health
conditions such as allergies, diabetes, cancer and premature birth.
Money was raised through a $10 contribution from every ticked sold
thanks to the Portsea Polo Committee, and from corporate support
and
official Portsea Polo caps.
Celebrity guests at the Kay & Burton and Murdoch Childrens
Club Marquees included Nathan Buckley and from Melbourne Rebels'
Julian Huxley. Our special thanks to, Portsea Polo committee, the
event organisers Focal Promotions, Kay & Burton and Guinot for
sponsoring the Murdoch Childrens Club Marquee.
Congratulations to Kim McFarlane, who won a
seven night holiday to Mission Beach thanks to Castaways
Resort & Spa and to Andrew Begg, who won a
$750 Guinot
gift pack.
