Murdoch Childrens is celebrating a move to our new home in the
redeveloped Royal Childrens Hospital.
The new facility boasts double the amount of space for research,
which will help to ensure Murdoch Childrens researchers have
greater capacity to make innovative and world-first
discoveries.
The purpose-built research facility is designed so that it will
be flexible and able to respond to emerging research trends and
will also improve communication between research and clinical
areas, increasing collaboration between the areas.
Discovery tours of the new facility will begin in 2012 and will
give our supporters a chance to get a behind-the-scenes glimpse of
the new facility and showcase the large laboratory space, as well
the shared spaces, such as Main Street, and a visit to the
meerkats.
