Be one of the first to see the state of the art facilities in
Murdoch Childrens new home in the redeveloped Royal Children's
Hospital by taking a Discovery Tour in 2012.
The new facility boasts double the amount of space for research,
which will help to ensure Murdoch Childrens researchers have
greater capacity to make innovative and world-first
discoveries.
By attendng a Discovery tour you will be given the opportunity
to get a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the new facility and meet
some of our passionate researchers who are responsibile for making
life saving discoveries.
You can visit the gait lab where researchers use high tech
equipment to measure how children with cerebral palsy walk.
Or you can learn how magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) shows inside
the developing brains of premature babies.
You will also be one of the first to see the large new
laboratory space in our new home, as well the shared spaces of the
hospital, such as Main Street, and the meerkats.
