Golfers Tee Up for the Health & Happiness of Children
More than 100 golfing enthusiasts teed up at The Heritage Golf and Country Club for the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute on Thursday 8 February 2007. Now in its second year, the charity golf day successfully raised $36,000 for innovative, world class research to help prevent and treat conditions affecting children’s health.
A total of 25 teams from organisations including Teska Carson, Citigroup, ALLCO, Johnstaff Higgs, ABN Ambro, Crazy John’s, KPMG and Macquarie Bank took on the club’s challenging 'Jack Nicklaus' signature course to raise funds and hopefully hit a hole in one.
Players enjoyed outstanding hospitality from their hosts, including on course wine tasting and massage, followed by a sumptuous dinner of local food served by The Heritage Golf and Country Club and The Sebel Heritage Yarra Valley. Our thanks to Dale St George and his team at The Heritage for organising such a successful event.
