
The PUMA Lap is the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute's major annual fundraising and awareness event aimed at the corporate market. In 2005, 910 participants in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane ran in the competition and were sponsored by 2,244 people. The event was kick started with a CEO challenge, with top executives joining Sarah Murdoch and PUMA athletes in Sydney and Tiffany Cherry and Leigh Colbert in Melbourne to run the most 400m laps
