The FOXTEL Lap has been run.

An overall total of 94,879 laps were completed by 97 teams at Melbourne’s City Square on Friday 7 September, Sydney’s Martin Place on Friday 14 September and Perth’s Forrest Place on Tuesday 23 October.

Roddy Campbell from FOXSPORTS in Sydney beat all other competitors, running 95 laps in 30 minutes while the overall winning team, UBS in Sydney completed a total 1275 laps.

Ambassador of Murdoch Childrens Research Institute, Sarah Murdoch took on the country’s top executives in the Sydney Chief’s Challenge. The mum of two ran 40 laps in less than half an hour and has already raised more than $20,000 for the Institute. Sarah also convinced host of the Today Show Karl Stefanovic to support a great cause by jumping on a treadmill for MCRI. See Sarah on the Today Show here.

Thank you to all participants for working up a sweat to support the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute. You can still help us reach our million dollar fundraising goal by making a donation before 8 November at www.thelap.com.au.
