It was off with the suits and on with the running shoes as CEOs and staff from some of Australia’s biggest corporations ran in the FOXTEL Lap to raise money for MCRI.
The treadmill challenge, now in its fourth year, raised close to $500,000 for MCRI.
The event was held in Melbourne, Sydney Perth, and for the first time Brisbane and Adelaide making this a huge national event. The day-long public events saw teams of 20 people compete to run or walk as many 100m ‘laps’ as they could to raise money MCRI.
The successful event was about participation, having fun and getting fit, as well as raising greatly needed funds for MCRI.
Thank you to all the participating corporate teams and runners who worked up a sweat to raise funds to support the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute.
MCRI Ambassador Sarah Murdoch was also proud to take part, running 49 laps in Sydney, beating her total of 40 from the year before.
