
Sarah Murdoch has been the ambassador for the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute and a member of the development board since 2000.
An internationally renowned supermodel and television presenter, Sarah is also mother to sons Kalan and Aidan.

Sarah is the face of MCRI’s 2008 awareness campaign. Seen in newspapers, magazine, on billboards and on radio nationwide, this campaign has reached millions of Australians.
Sarah is the face of Bonds, a director of the Australian Ballet and co-author of the book Birth Skills with Juju Sundin which was released March 2007.
In 2007 Sarah with husband Lachlan and two year old son Kalan visited MCRI, spending a morning touring the research facilities and meeting with our staff and patients of the hospital. Sarah's visit to the Children's Cancer Centre saw patients light up at the opportunity to have a chat and some special time with the Murdoch family.
In September 2007, Sarah she participated in the FOXTEL Lap CEO Challenge in Sydney, raising $17,000 for the Institute. She also convinced host of the TODAY Show, Karl Stefanovic to support a great cause by running on a treadmill for MCRI.

In April 2005, Sarah launched the Murdoch Childrens' innovative million dollar advertising campaign at Longrain in Sydney.
Sarah's outstanding contributions to health and medical research were recognised by Research Australia in 2003 when she received the Celebrity Advocacy Award.
Together with husband Lachlan Murdoch, Sarah has hosted several special fundraising events for the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute, and she speaks with knowledge and passion about child health research.
