Flow Cytometry & Imaging

The Flow Cytometry and Imaging Facility provides highly specialised cell sorting, analysis and microscopy facilities to both internal and external researchers. The facility is equipped with several flow cytometers, both analytical and cell sorters, as well as confocal and widefield microscopy instrumentation for imaging both fixed and live cells and tissue.

Sequenom Platform Facility

The Sequenom Platform Facility provides expertise in mass spectrometry and robotics to analyse DNA and RNA at a high-performance level.

The Sequenom platform is housed within a NATA accredited laboratory and is operated according to ISO 15189 requirements.

Tissue Culture

Our tissue culture laboratory provides cell cultures and media for research scientists as well as establishing skin fibroblast or lymphoblast cultures from patients for diagnostic and quality assurance testing.
