biography
John Bateman initiated studies at the Royal Children's Hospital
on the molecular basis of connective tissue diseases. His research
interests continue to be in the molecular mechanisms of
extracellular matrix assembly in health and disease, including the
use of stem cells and biomaterials in cartilage and bone
repair.
