research focus & interest
Roy's research focus is molecular bacterial pathogenesis,
including the discovery of novel virulence determinants of
bacterial pathogens and the genetic regulation of virulence. The
expertise of his research group includes all forms of molecular
typing, genetic analysis, cloning, sequencing, mutagenesis and
infectio models.
