Corporate Philanthropy and Partnerships
Philanthropic funding from organisations allows us to seed fund new groundbreaking research into the big health issues currently affecting Australian children including allergies, asthma, cancer, diabetes, premature birth, obesity, genetic diseases and mental health.
Murdoch Children's Research Institute is committed to developing long term, best practice partnerships with companies who share our goal of improving the health and wellbeing of children. For every dollar donated, we leverage a further $6 from external sources.
The opportunities for involvement are diverse. From building staff motivation, enhancing your brand profile or engaging stakeholders, we can build a tailored program to meet your objectives and deliver tangible benefits.
Workplace giving is the process of making regular donations to a charity via payroll deductions. You do not have to worry about keeping receipts or waiting until the end of the financial year to obtain a tax benefit - an employer simply deducts a donation amount from their employee's salary before deducting their tax. An employee simply has to select how much from pre-tax earnings they want to give to Murdoch Children's. By giving a donation through workplace giving, employees are ensuring a happier, healthier future for children.
Companies can support Murdoch Children's through sponsoring one of our special events. As a sponsor, your business will receive rewarding and tailored event related benefits tiered sponsorship packages with brand, marketing, consumer activation, networking and other opportunities are available for each of our events.
In kind support is vital in helping the Murdoch Children's reduce costs and direct more funds to research. Pro bono support can be made through provision of services or goods such as printing, travel, event related supplies, prizes, advertising space and professional support and advice.
