In conversation with philanthropist Mike Milken

Our Director, Professor Kathryn North AC, MCRI global ambassador, Sarah Murdoch, and MCRI's lead on our 100&Change application to the MacArthur Foundation, Dr. Hamish Graham, recently sat down to record a podcast with renowned philanthropist, Mike Milken.

During their chat, the quartet covered a range of topics including how MCRI pivoted a huge proportion of our 1,200+ workforce to COVID-19 research and how our researchers are tackling the big, everyday health problems facing children.

Dr Hamish Graham also detailed for Mike his lead role with MCRI in our global partnership with the Clinton Health Access Initiative, aiming to improve medical oxygen access in five countries, which together account for one-third of the world's deaths due to low blood oxygen.
