The Murdoch Children's Research Institute hosts Honours students in laboratory, clinical and public health research, with most students enrolled through the Department of Paediatrics Honours program.

The Institute and The University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics, based at the Melbourne Children's Campus, have exciting and diverse research projects available in 2016 that encompass laboratory, clinical and public health projects. Our supervisors are leading international researchers with the time, dedication and mentoring skills to ensure students succeed in their studies and develop skills to pursue a career in research.

BBiomed(Hons) and BSci(Honours) qualifications are available by enrolling through the Department of Paediatrics with a research project based at the Murdoch Children's. Conducting research at the Murdoch Children's while doing coursework through Melbourne University with a large cohort of students, provides an ideal Honours experience.

All coursework and research will be done on the same campus located at The Royal Children’s Hospital in Parkville.

Applications for Honours in 2016 closes 13 November 2015. Download a copy of the Honours 2016 Handbook here. Interested students should contact prospective Supervisors immediately to discuss project opportunities.
