The Digital Health Translation & Implementation (DHTI) Program is a Melbourne Children’s Campus initiative and provides a framework model and standardised process for the development, evaluation and implementation of digital health solutions at The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH).

Digital Health Translation & Implementation Program

Program activity targets real hospital needs and develops, evaluates and implements digital solutions to effect positive change to service delivery and patient outcomes.

Central to the success of The DHTI Program is the unique clinical innovator role. Clinical innovators are clinicians working at the RCH and are provided with support, guidance, resources and protected time to develop their digital solution into a hospital-ready product.

Current evaluation projects include:

  • Sleep
  • Mental Health
  • Drug Dosing Calculator
