Course overview

The half-day REDCap 2 course provides hands-on instruction in aspects of REDCap's functionality that go beyond the basics covered in REDCap1: Introduction to REDCap. The course covers using the data dictionary, longitudinal and repeating data collection, automated survey invitations, importing data, and a look at some more advanced form design elements and workflows.

The REDCap 2 course is aimed at people with some experience with REDCap project design and configuration. It is assumed that participants are familiar with, and comfortable navigating, REDCap's web interface to perform Project Setup and data entry tasks. Participants may have completed the REDCap 1 course, although this is not a prerequisite.

We also offer an introductory course on REDCap 1: Introduction to REDCap.
