Associate Professor Warwick Teague is Director of Trauma, Clinical Lead for Burns, and Academic Paediatric Surgeon at The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH), Melbourne. His paediatric surgical practice includes general, upper gastrointestinal, neonatal, burns and trauma surgery.

A/Prof Teague is active in research and academic activities, holding honorary appointments for both the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute and University of Melbourne.

His research organized around three themes: 1) foregut developmental biology with particular reference to oesophageal and duodenal atresia; 2) paediatric trauma and burns (injury prevention, trauma systems, improvement in specific injury care); 3) clinical paediatric surgery (duodenal atresia, oesophageal atresia, appendicitis, minimally access surgery).
