Murdoch Children's Research Institute hosts Honours students in laboratory, clinical and public health research. While the majority are enrolled through the Honours program at the Department of Paediatrics, we also hosts many students enrolled in other departments from the University of Melbourne, Monash University, Swinburne University, La Trobe University and Deakin University.

Students are encouraged to contact potential supervisors directly to discuss student research opportunities.

Melbourne Children's Campus Honours Program

Murdoch Children's Research Institute and the University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics, based at the Melbourne Children's Campus, have exciting and diverse research projects that encompass laboratory, clinical and public health projects. Our supervisors are leading international researchers with the time, dedication and mentoring skills to ensure students succeed in their studies and develop skills to pursue a career in research.

Conducting research at Murdoch Children's while doing coursework through the Department of Paediatrics, all here on Campus with a large cohort of students provides an ideal Honours experience.
