Alannah works at Murdoch Children's Research Institute (MCRI) as a clinical trials biostatistician and a project officer. She has been working within clinical trials for over five years, specialising in oncology and electronic medical record (EMR) trials. The Centre for Health Analytics implemented the first Australian EMR embedded trial in 2021, with Alannah coordinating this innovative trial. Alannah works within the Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics Unit (CEBU) as a biostatistician, predominantly working in the trials team. She also assists with the Stata statistical software and introduction to biostatistics course teaching delivered by CEBU.
Prior to working at MCRI, Alannah worked at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, and within private radiology companies in rural and regional Queensland.
