After completing a PhD investigating dietary influences on immunity, Dr McKenzie received a Monash University Early Career Fellowship (2017) to investigate the allergen-specific immune responses underpinning successful allergen immunotherapy. After post-doctoral projects investigating antibody responses in allergies and immunisation, he now works in the Population Allergy laboratory at MCRI where he seeks to unravel the immunological mechanisms that prevent or promote allergies. Moreover, as a passionate educator he regularly tutors and supervises students.
