Dr Ellie Robson is a passionate and ambitious early-career post-doctoral researcher with a vested interest in preserving and improving mental health.
Currently leading work with the Child to Adult Transition Study (CATS), she focuses on investigating the evolution of common mental disorders across the formative adolescent years.
Originally from the United Kingdom (UK), Ellie completed an undergraduate in Human Biology, and a PhD in life-course epidemiology. Her doctoral work intergrated psychological and biological concepts to investigate the physiological manifestations of early life adversity.
Ellie is committed to advancing the field of mental health research by leveraging her personal and academic experience to bridge the disciplines of Biology, Psychology, and Public Health. She is particularly passionate about translating research findings into effective policies and practises to make a tangible impact on mental health outcomes.
