Dr Shuaijun (Jun) Guo is an emerging researcher in the field of child and adolescent health – specifically focusing on health literacy and health equity – which he uses epidemiological methods to explore in longitudinal cohort data and large-scale population representative data. Dr Guo completed his PhD in the School of Population and Global Health at the University of Melbourne in 2018. Dr Guo is highly motivated to launch his career in epidemiological research. He has research experience in a diverse range of contexts (e.g., Australia, China) and in all facets of the research process (e.g., designing and planning, quantitative analysis, systematic reviews). Dr Guo has published 57 peer-reviewed articles since 2012 (H-index=18; total citations=1136), with 21 first-authored original research articles. These publications cover multiple research topics including child disadvantage, child development, and longitudinal data, demonstrating his capacity to successfully analyse data within this project.
