Kaitlyn is a project manager and clinical trial coordinator at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, with nearly ten years of experience in the design, implementation and delivery of investigator-initiated clinical trials.
Her research interests include medicinal cannabis as a novel therapeutic agent in paediatric health care, and the application of innovative clinical trial methodologies to better research rare and complex diseases.
Kaitlyn has co-authored several peer-reviewed publications regarding the use of medicinal cannabis for behavioural and neurological conditions in children and adolescents.
Her work spans feasibility and efficacy studies, ethics and governance guidance, contributing to safe and evidence-based implementation of emerging therapies in paediatrics.
