Dr Karen McLean is a clinician-researcher and the Paediatric Lead of the Victorian Centre of Health Leadership for Children in Care at the Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne. Karen has worked as a paediatrician with children in care since 2013, leading the Pathway to Good Health Clinic at RCH. In 2021 she completed her PhD studies exploring how Victorian children entering care get their health needs assessed and addressed. She continues to contribute to clinical care, research, and advocacy to support routine, timely and appropriate healthcare for children and young people in care.
