Lane Collier is a PhD student investigating the utilization of wearable technology and artificial intelligence in a paediatric oncology cohort for early toxicity detection. She is under the supervision of A/Prof Rachel Conyers, Prof Nilmini Wickramasinghe and A/Prof David Elliott at Murdoch Children's Research Institute/The University of Melbourne. Prior to this she was a Senior Data Manager at the Victorian Department of Health during the COVID-19 pandemic. During her time at the Department of Health she worked in a wide variety of roles, in a fast paced and high-pressure environment. She has extensive experience in stakeholder engagement, data management and leadership. She also completed a microcredential at RMIT in 2022, upskilling in programming for Data Science.
