Prof Lisa Hui is a maternal fetal medicine specialist with research interests in cell-free fetal nucleic acids, prenatal screening and diagnosis. She completed her clinical training in maternal fetal medicine in Sydney and performed her PhD research at the Mother Infant Research Institute in Boston before moving to Melbourne in 2013.

She is a Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Newborn Health at the University of Melbourne and Group Leader of the MCRI Reproductive Epidemiology group. She holds clinical appointments at the Mercy Hospital for Women, Heidelberg, and The Northern Hospital, Epping.
