Melvin Marzan
Melvin is an epidemiologist and biostatistician with a particular interest in perinatal epidemiology. He currently works under the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Melbourne Medical School on the Collaborative Maternity and Newborn Dashboard for the COVID-19 pandemic. He also has a Research Fellowship secondment under the Office of Clinical Chiefs for Safercare, Victoria. He holds honorary appointments with the Mercy Perinatal, the Northern Health and Joan Kirner Women's and Children's Hospital.
He has more than ten years of public health experience, particularly in health data, information, and knowledge management, having worked with several international organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO), United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), Vital Strategies and Asian Development Bank (ADB).
