Dr Pham is a trained medical doctor (Hanoi Medical University, Vietnam) with an MPH degree (the University of Alabama at Birmingham, US) and a PhD (Monash University, Australia) in public health. He brings a unique combination of work experience including leading the design and implementation of public health interventions and research projects in low- and middle-income countries. Dr Pham had published his work in prestigious international peer-reviewed journals such as the Lancet Discovery Science, Lancet Regional Health Southeast Asia (as first/corresponding author); The British Medical; Journal, Nature Medicine and the Lancet (as co-author). He had received an internationally competitive research grant from Thrasher Research Fund, US as the principal investigator, and ideas grant from NHMRC as a chief investigator.
