Steph is a specialist paediatric dentist currently undertaking a PhD titled “molar incisor hypomineralisation: aetiology and impact” at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute and the University of Melbourne. She completed her specialist paediatric dental training at the University of Melbourne in 2023 and works clinically in private practice as well as a lecturer and clinical demonstrator at the Melbourne Dental School.

Steph has diverse clinical experience from across Australia having worked for nearly a decade in private general practice in Queensland and the Northern Territory. She has presented her research at conferences for the International Association of Paediatric Dentistry, International Association of Dental Research, Australasian Academy of Paediatric Dentistry, Australian and New Zealand Society of Paediatric Dentistry Victoria Branch and the Australian Dental Association Victoria Branch.

Steph is currently serving as the treasurer of the Australasian Academy of Paediatric Dentistry and was council member for the Australian Dental Association Northern Territory branch from 2016-2020 and served as Honorary Secretary from 2017-2019. She is a member of the Australian Dental Association, Australian and New Zealand Society of Paediatric Dentistry, Australasian Academy of Paediatric Dentistry, Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, International Association of Paediatric Dentistry and International Association of Dental Research.
