Supriya is a Senior research co-ordinator and Team leader of the Molecular Therapies group at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute.

Following her initial training as a dentist, she completed a Master of Public Health and pivoted into the world of research. She has worked at the Melbourne Children's campus for over 20 years and is passionate about bringing meaningful changes to children’s lives.

She works with Prof Ravi Savarirayan and was an integral part of the global trials that brought Vosoritide, the very first therapy for the most common form of short stature, Achondroplasia, to market.

Supriya currently leads the group’s research program and manages over 25 clinical trials in rare paediatric bone disorders.
