Dr Svenja Pachernegg
Dr Svenja Pachernegg is a postdoctoral researcher in the Reproductive Development Group at the Murdoch Children's Research Institute in Melbourne. Svenja’s research interests are pluripotent stem cell biology, developmental biology, and disease modelling. She completed her PhD in Neuroscience in Germany in 2014, working on glutamate receptor function in mouse embryonic and neural stem cells. Svenja is now applying her stem cell and molecular biology skills to a differentiation protocol for human gonadal organoids to model Disorders of Sex Development.
