Dr Zeffie Poulakis is a clinical psychologist, and is the Director of Psychology at the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne (RCH). She has previously held clinical roles in the hospital’s Gender Service and Complex Movement Disorder Program. She was also the inaugural Director of the Victorian Infant Hearing Screening Program (VIHSP) at RCH. Zeffie has a research career with the Murdoch Children's Research Institute spanning three decades, and has an honorary appointment with the University of Melbourne. Zeffie is committed to research and clinical practice that is evidence-informed and promotes learning, development, communication and mental well-being in children and young people who experience marginalisation and disadvantage.
