We are deeply saddened to learn of Carla Zampatti's passing. Our thoughts and condolences are with her family and friends.
A fashion pioneer, an icon of industry and a champion for multiculturalism, Carla inspired so many people with her creativity, passion, generosity and humility.
Carla has been a dear friend of the Murdoch Children's Research Institute for many years. She was an active member of MCRI's Council of Ambassadors, advocating for better health outcomes for children.
She shared a passion for the health and wellbeing of babies, children and young people in Australia and around the world and through her work on the Council and was committed to supporting the next generation.
We are forever grateful for her support. Our heartfelt sympathies to all.
