The Melbourne Children’s Campus continues to cement itself as a leader in genomics, welcoming Professor John Christodoulou as Chair in Genomic Medicine. The new role, a joint appointment between Murdoch Children's Research Institute and the University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics, will oversee the Centre for Genomic Medicine and drive the integration of genomics into clinical practice on the Melbourne Children’s Campus and beyond.

Some of Australia’s most well-known women have joined together to form a Council of Ambassadors on behalf of the Murdoch Children's Research Institute, championing the life-saving work of the Institute’s researchers and advocating for child health.

Meet Kai, an inspiring youngster who started his own fundraising drive to raise more than $550 to support children with heart conditions. According to Kai, finding something fun to do is the key to raising funds and being able to make a difference in the lives of others. We couldn’t be more thankful for his efforts.
