The Clinical Research Development Office (CRDO) was established to facilitate and increase capacity for clinical and public health research across the Melbourne Children's campus.
The education and training provided by CRDO encompasses many aspects of the regulatory framework under which research must be conducted. CRDO also provides specific training on the day-to-day running of research projects.
There are numerous initiatives CRDO has implemented to equip new and current researchers with the resources and tools they require to conduct high quality research from the start of their project to the end.
CRDO is funded by the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute. It works in close collaboration with the Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics Unit and Research, Ethics and Governance (REG). CRDO sits within the Melbourne Children's Trial Centre.
