I currently work as a Research Fellow in Professor Danchin's Vaccine Uptake group and within Associate Professor Natalie Carvalho's Economics of Global Health and Infectious Diseases group at The Melbourne School of Population and Global Health (MSPGH). Drawing on both a background in clinical research and public health, my predominant research focus is on cost-effectiveness analysis alongside implementation science as well as health economics of rheumatic heart disease, maternal and childhood anaemia and meningococcal disease in low and middle-income settings within the Asia-pacific area and Africa.

This research involves conceptualising and designing economic evaluation studies to determine the cost-effectiveness of interventions in resource-poor settings alongside randomised controlled trials and observational research. These projects have involved working with governments, commercial entities and research institutions across Australia, including Walter and Eliza Institute (WEHI), University of Queensland, as well as institutions in the USA, Uganda and Bangladesh.

I also has significant experience in using evidence synthesis to understand how services can be better orientated to support marginalised populations as demonstrated by designing and conducting systematic and scoping reviews.

Prior to research positions at The Murdoch Children's Research Institute and MSPGH, I completed a British Heart Foundation supported PhD in Cardiovascular Research at the University of Leicester then worked in international regulatory and scientific affairs in the area of vaccines, oncology and orphan drugs, generic and complementary medicines, as well as medical devices for Australian and European-based companies. I recently completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Public Health from The University of Melbourne and awarded the top graduating student prize in 2023.
