Susan Ellul is a PhD student at the Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics Unit (CEBU) at the Murdoch Children Research Institute, Melbourne. She has a Bachelor of Mathematical and Computer Science (Statistics) from the University of Adelaide and a Master of Biostatistics from the University of Melbourne and was a Biostatistics Collaboration of Australia (BCA) star graduate.
Before undertaking her master's degree, Susan worked in the Cancer Epidemiology Centre (now The Cancer Epidemiology & Intelligence Division (CEID)) at Cancer Council Victoria for 2 years and began working at CEBU after completing her masters in 2016.
Susan is undertaking a PhD in data-adaptive methods for causal inference using machine learning.
