REDCap II: Beyond the Basics

Important:
The following courses are for Melbourne Children’s campus staff only. This includes Murdoch Children's Research Institute, Royal Children's Hospital and The University of Melbourne, Department of Paediatrics) staff.

Course overview

The half-day REDCap II course provides hands-on instruction in aspects of REDCap's functionality that go beyond the basics covered in REDCap I: Introduction to REDCap.  For example: using the data dictionary, longitudinal and repeating data collection, automated survey invitations, importing data, and a look at some more advanced form design elements and workflows.

The REDCap II course is aimed at people with some experience with REDCap project design and configuration (i.e.beyond just data entry use), for example (but not necessarily) those that have completed the REDCap I course. It is assumed that participants are fairly familiar with, and comfortable navigating around, REDCap's web interface to perform Project Setup and data entry tasks.

We also offer an introductory course on REDCap I: Introduction to REDCap.
